The project is being developed in the center of Bogotá, at the intersection of Caracas and El Dorado avenues. This is the point where the headquarters of many of the country’s most representative companies converge and the area through which more than 75,000 people pass daily. The design of the towers includes an atrium 30 meters high, which gives the feeling of a friendly and unlimited large entrance.
Will it be just one building?
The famous architect Richard Rogers, winner of the Pritzker Prize, personally designed the structure of the two towers that will make up the Atrio complex and the new cultural center of Bogota.
The second tower of the complex will be taller than its sister and will immediately become the largest in Colombia, with a height of 268 meters.
According to Atrio’s manager, Tomás Huertas, the new tower is in the financial closing process. The second building of the Atrio complex will be located a few meters south of where the first one is expected to be built and will have the same energy efficiency and design as the other one.
